Ohio reports first human West Nile virus case in 2017
The Ohio Department of Health is reporting the first case of West Nile virus found in a person this year.A 44-year-old man from Clermont County is recovering and did not require hospitalization, according to ODH.Twenty-nine counties in Ohio have reported the virus being found in mosquitoes collected as part of statewide monitoring.ODH said 17 human West Nile cases were reported last year.The primary way to get the virus is through the bite of an infected mosquito.Most people who become infected
