Ohio plan to restore Lake Erie won’t mandate farming changes

DELAWARE — The Kasich administration offered a first look on Wednesday of its plan to reduce toxic algae blooms in Lake Erie. That plan, however, doesn't require farmers to change their practices, something scientists and environmentalists say is necessary to restore the lake.
