Ohio might still be able to buy execution drug from overseas

The door remains open, just slightly, for Ohio prison officials to purchase lethal injection drugs from overseas. The latest communication from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reinforced the fact that there is no Food and Drug Administration-approved application for importing sodium thiopental, the drug Ohio officials want to use for future executions.
