Ohio manufacturers still adding jobs, but pace has slowed

Ohio continues to add manufacturing jobs, but the pace has slowed considerably, according to a new report that shows companies relying more on automation to help deal with a shortage of workers. The report by Manufacturers' News finds that the state added just 2,014 manufacturing jobs between September 2015 and September 2016; it was the fifth straight year that employment in the sector increased in Ohio.
