Ohio House to vote on bill defunding Planned Parenthood
An Ohio House bill to redirect public funds from entities that perform or promote elective abortions passed in committee today and will come to a vote by the House. The bill, which will take away state funds from organizations such as Planned Parenthood, passed 8-4 with mostly Republican support except for one of the bill’s co-sponsors, Rep. Bill Patmon, D-Cleveland. Rep. Margaret Conditt, R- Liberty Township, is the other sponsor.
