Officials: Rabid bat found in Arena District

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A rabid bat was found in the Arena District of Columbus according to Columbus Public Health.The live bat was found around 9 p.m. on August 19 on the sidewalk at the corner of John H. McConnell Boulevard and Nationwide Boulevard.The person who found the bat took it to the Ohio Wildlife Center.The bat was tested for rabies and the tests came back positive on September 10.Columbus Public Health said anyone who touched a bat in that location on August 19 before the bat was fou
