Off-duty officer critically injured in crash

An off-duty Columbus police officer was critically injured Sunday night in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 71 on the North Side. Columbus police were called at 10:48 p.m. to the southbound lane of the interstate, near the Weber Road exit. The officer, whose identity was not available late Sunday, was taken to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital and listed in critical but stable condition.
