ODOT launches new truck parking information system

ODOT is launching a new system along three major highways to make it easier for truck drivers to find safe parking.The Truck Parking Information Management System provides real-time information about available parking spaces at nine Ohio rest areas, according to ODOT.Parking information will be displayed on digital signs along the highway, as well as on OHGO.com.The multi-state system, which should be fully operational next month, was paid for with a $25 million federal transportation grant.
