ODOT fined after employees dump debris into creek

The Ohio Department of Transportation has paid more than $120,000, including a $35,000 fine, to clean a federally protected creek in southern Ohio after ODOT employees dumped truckloads of polluted ditch dirt and debris into the waterway. At least six employees were involved, according to a report from the Ohio Office of the Inspector General.
