Nude woman's body found in Fairfield County field

A woman's naked body was discovered this afternoon in a Fairfield County cornfield, Sheriff Dave Phalen said. Investigators are working to identify the woman. A passing motorist spotted her body in a cornfield about 20 feet off Lake Road, south of Pleasantville Road, near Pleasantville around 1:30 p.m. and notified the sheriff's office, Phalen said.
