Northeast Ohio 7th-grader shoots self inside school

A seventh-grade student in northeast Ohio shot himself at school Tuesday, WOIO reports.Jackson Township police told Cleveland CBS affiliate WOIO the student shot himself at Jackson Memorial Middle School.All schools in the Jackson Local School District in Stark County were placed on lockdown. The students were dismissed from school shortly after the lockdown was lifted.Police have not said if the shooting is accidental or intentional.The boy's condition is not known at this time.
