No injuries, pet safe after Pickerington house fire

PICKERINGTON, Ohio – No one was hurt and a dog is safe after a house fire in Pickerington Tuesday morning.The Violet Township Fire Department said the homeowner left just before the fire started on Abbey Court.Investigators said the fire started in the garage and there is significant damage to the house.A cause is under investigation.
