Police in Newark are searching for a man who robbed a fruit and vegetable stand last weekend.The robbery was reported July 17 at the Witten Farms stand on North 21st Street.A man approached a female employee, claiming to have a weapon and demanded cash.The perpetrator then fled in a vehicle with an unknown amount of money north on 21st Street, pulling out in front of several vehicles.The suspect is described as a white male possibly in his 50s, 6’3”, with a wide/fit build and short s
