Newark man pleads guilty to possessing explosives
A Newark man who had a collection of explosives when police arrested him in August pleaded guilty this morning to a single count of unlawful possession of a dangerous ordnance, a fifth-degree felony.Jay West, 30, was sentenced to 30 days in jail and three years’ probation, Licking County Court officials confirmed. He was also ordered to pay a $2,500 fine.
