New traffic pattern for I-70 west downtown begins this weekend

Crews will begin shifting westbound Interstate-70 traffic just before the I-70/I-71 split to continue work on the Columbus Crossroads project starting Friday.The Ohio Department of Transportation says I-70 west will be reduced to one lane between 18th Street and Grant Avenue. Any traffic continuing on I-70 west and traffic heading to I-71 south will have to merge to the left lane as they approach the overpass for 18th Street.New downtown traffic pattern starts this weekend.
