New system to make it easier to spot opiate addiction

Ohio will make it easier for doctors and pharmacists to access a state system for tracking opiate painkillers. Gov. John Kasich announced today that the state will provide a $1.5 million grant to better link doctors and pharmacists with the Ohio Automated Rx Reporting System. The system provides information on prescriptions for painkillers and other drugs that include addictive opioid ingredients.
