New STEM school just what students wanted
It’s early yet for the fledgling Metro Institute of Technology, but for 14-year-old Jayden Toomer, the first five-year STEM school in Ohio is turning out as he had hoped. “I brag about the school all the time,” Jayden said as he led a tour through MIT, which meets on the second floor of Franklin University’s Phillips Hall. Jayden, from Grandview Heights, hopes to become an aerospace engineer.
