New program targets patients in critical moments after overdose

A new program intervenes with overdose patients immediately after EMS responds.It’s a collaboration between Columbus Fire, ADAMH and Southeast Healthcare.A team consisting of a paramedic, social worker and a nurse will be called to the hospital or even on-scene when EMS responds to an overdose.
