New Hocking Hills Visitor Center to open Monday

LOGAN, Ohio— A new visitor center will be opening Monday at Hocking Hills State Park.Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director Mary Mertz will join park and tourism officials for the grand opening at 2 p.m.The new building — off of State Route 664 South — will be 8,500-square feet, with an additional 5,000-square feet included on the upper and lower outdoor verandas. The center will provide a place to learn, explore and plan a visit to the park.
