New domestic-violence shelter will more than double those it can serve

Franklin County's only domestic-violence shelter, an aging and crowded place where clients often spill over onto cots and mats, is raising money for a new building that will more than double capacity. "Right now we have three bathrooms — and just two bathtubs — in the entire building," said Sue Villilo, executive director of CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence.
