Multi-agency OVI checkpoints planned tonight in Scioto County

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State Highway Patrol will hold an OVI checkpoint tonight in Scioto County to combat impaired driving.The checkpoint will be on U.S. 52 near Mabert Road, located in Portsmouth, Ohio.The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Portsmouth Police and Shawnee State Police Department, will conduct the OVI checkpoints between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. tonight.The checkpoints will be held in conjunction with increase patrols and aggressive combat impaired driver-related inj
