Motorcyclist killed in Franklin County crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio – A motorcyclist is dead after a crash Monday afternoon, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.The sheriff’s office said the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. on Harrisburg Pike between Clime Road and Alkire Road.The motorcyclist was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.He was headed northbound on Harrisburg Pike at a high rate of speed when he tried to pass on the shoulder and hit a car that was turning left in front of him
