MORPC announces rapid-speed transportation initiative

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission is launching a new initiative to explore routes that could utilize rapid-speed transportation technologies.The initiative will study the feasibility of Hyperloop technology following an environmental study.For these two studies and later phases, the MORPC anticipates the total cost to reach approximately $2.5 million.The MORPC says multiple partners, the cities of Columbus, Marysville and Lima, have committed financial resources for the initiative.&ldquo
