More than 8,000 AEP customers without power in Gahanna area

GAHANNA - American Electric Power confirms there is a city-wide power outage in Gahanna.According to AEP, there was an equipment related issue that caused a small fire.Gahanna Outage: Crews are on scene investigating the outage. AEP crews are working to determine the cause and they estimate the power should be back on by 1:30 a.m. Monday.
