More than 4,000 AEP customers without power in NW Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Approximately 4,000 AEP Ohio customers in northwest Columbus are without power Wednesday evening due to an outage.The power went out around 5:15 p.m. in the area of Bethel Road and Sawmill Road.AEP is attributing the outage to an equipment issue.The estimated time of restoration is 7 p.m.AEP said crews are repairing a piece of equipment.To view the outage map for AEP, click here.
