More than 400 attend vigil for slain officer

Under a brilliant blue sky as the setting sun cast a golden glow, hundreds gathered Downtown at the Columbus Police Memorial on Sunday evening to remember Officer Steven M. Smith. More than 400 — including Smith's family and fellow Columbus Police SWAT Team officers — attended the candlelight vigil on the banks of the Scioto River.
