Missing Champaign County 15-year-old may be heading to Columbus

The Champaign County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as they try and find a missing teenager who may be headed to Columbus.The sheriff’s office said 15-year-old Alexis Dixon was last seen at Triad High School around 10 a.m. Thursday.She was seen leaving the school with a duffel bag and received a ride to Urbana, Ohio.Her friends told police there is a possibility she is headed to the Columbus area.She is described as being around 5’8” tall, weighs 1
