Missing 12-year-old from west Columbus found safe

A missing 12-year-old girl from west Columbus has been recovered, according to police. Amal Jees Ali left on foot in the neighborhood of Eakin Road and Wedgewood Drive around 2 p.m. Thursday.Authorities release early Friday Ali was found safe.
