Miami University names Notre Dame official as its next president

Miami University has chosen Gregory P. Crawford as its 22nd president. Miami's Board of Trustees voted unanimously on Friday to hire Crawford, who is an associate provost at the University of Notre Dame. He'll succeed President David Hodge, who announced last year that he would step down in June 2016 as leader of the public university in Oxford, Ohio.
