Meth lab dump site discovered in Athens County

MILLFIELD – The Athens County Sheriff’s Office said someone discovered a meth lab dumped on the side of the road in Millfield.Millfield is north of the city of Athens.The passerby spotted bags, bottles and hypodermic needles along Wesley Road near the Lafollette Road intersection.The Major Crimes Unit cleaned up the site. A member had to wear protective clothing to remove the bottles and needles from the side of the road.Deputies did not know who dumped the items.
