Medical-marijuana backers can begin collecting signatures

While the House Medical Marijuana Task Force wrapped up its final hearing Thursday, a skeptical Ohio Ballot Board gave supporters of a medical-marijuana constitutional amendment the go-ahead to collect signatures for the fall election. Three members of the five-member board were present and voted to advance the proposal by the Marijuana Policy Project, a national organization working with Ohioans for Medical Marijuana, a state affiliate.
