Mayor's wife turns idea into suburban beautification group

Mayor Tom Kneeland lugs water jugs through the streets of Gahanna's Creekside district in the old red wagon that usually hauls his grandkids. Still in his day-job dress slacks, he pours the gallon containers one by one over a dozen flourishing flower planters. He greets the groups of curious onlookers, and there often are many.
