Man who shot officer while passing him on I-70 gets 15 years in prison

A 25-year-old man was sentenced today to 15 years in prison for targeting a Columbus police officer with gunfire while driving on I-70 on the East Side. Alphonso C. Reed apologized in a Franklin County courtroom for the April 26 incident, in which windows were shot out in the officer's personal car and one bullet passed through the driver's-side headrest. Bullets also shattered a window in another car with two people inside.
