Man who died from beating had been robbed several times before

Columbus police might have a suspect in the death of man who was found beaten Sunday and later died of his wounds. Police were called at 9:36 p.m. Sunday to Webster Canyon Townhomes where John D. Dawson, 53, was found unconscious lying on the ground in the parking lot. The location was 2264 Webster Canyon Court on the North Side.
