Man shot while taking out trash in east Columbus

COLUMBUS - Columbus police are investigating a shooting in east Columbus.It happened in the 4000 block of Overhill Way around 8:15 Friday morning, according to police.Authorities told 10TV the victim was taking out his trash when he was approached by the gunman and shot. He was taken to Grant Medical Center in stable condition.Police are looking for a suspect wearing dark pants and a hooded sweatshirt.Stay with 10TV for updates on this developing story.
