Man shot after fighting back during robbery attempt outside east Columbus Kroger

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Columbus police officers are looking for a suspect after a shooting in east Columbus.The shooting occurred around 10:15 Monday morning in the 3500 block of Gender Road outside of Kroger. A Columbus Police detective told 10TV a meeting to sell cellphones turned into a robbery attempt.A man was shot after attempting to fight back.He was taken to Mt. Carmel East and is expected to be OK.No information on suspects was available.
