Man pulled from burning home in east Columbus dies from injuries

COLUMBUS, Ohio - One person died following a fire on the east side of Columbus.Firefighters were notified of a house on fire in the 900-block of S. Hampton Road just before 3:30 Wednesday morning.They arrived to find flames coming from the home.One victim was removed from the home and transported to the hospital. That person later died.Investigators are coming to the scene to look into the cause of the fire.
