Man killed in northwest Columbus motorcycle crash

A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in northwest Columbus Thursday night.It happened around 11:30 p.m. on Thatcher Drive near Rossbury Court.Columbus police say 40-year-old Justin Gillie lost control of his motorcycle and hit a tree.Gillie was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition, but soon after died from injuries sustained in the crash.Columbus Police say this is the city's 43rd traffic-related fatality this year. The crash remains under investigation. ---
