Man killed in Newark shooting

NEWARK, Ohio -- A man was shot and killed in Newark Friday night.Police believe the shooting happened just after 11 p.m. in the first block of Hancock Street, according to the Newark Advocate. Police said they received multiple calls of shots being fired.Investigators said when officers arrived the victim was found dead.The shooting is under investigation.The Advocate reports that this is the second shooting in Newark in 2018.Stay with 10TV and 10TV.com on this developing story.
