Man killed after shooting in north Columbus

COLUMBUS - A man is dead after a shooting in north Columbus, according to police.It happened just after 1:30 p.m. in the 1000 block at the intersection of Indigo Way and Brooks Avenue.The man was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition where he later died.Authorities learned that the victim and suspect knew each other as they were exiting a vehicle described as a light-colored SUV.Police described the suspect as a black man wearing a dark shirt and shorts.
