Man indicted in Knox County hit-and-run death

A Knox County grand jury has indicted a motorist involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash on June 2. Jamie L. Clawson, 40, of Bellville, was driving along Beckley Road just before noon when he failed to yield at the intersection with Upper Fredericktown Road and hit a motorcycle driven by Jordan M. Pauley, 20, of Mount Vernon. Pauley, who wasn't wearing a helmet, died at Knox Community Hospital.
