Man found shot in head on Far East Side dies

A man has died after he was found shot in the front yard of a Far East Side home on Sunday night. Columbus police officers found Leonid Kaplan, 51, around 8:30 p.m., after a passer-by reported a man unconscious on a lawn in front of a house in the 5800 block of Riverton Road, off McNaughten Road between Main Street and Livingston Avenue.
