Man fatally shot on Far East Side

A 21-year-old man died after being shot inside an apartment on the Far East Side early this morning. Columbus police were called at 12:41 a.m. to 1877 Fountainview Court in the Cornerstone Apartments, where they found Damion D. Wade suffering from a gunshot wound. Truro Township Fire medics arrived and pronounced Wade dead at 12:55 a.m. Police said witnesses told them Wade had argued with someone who then shot him and fled.
