Man drowns in North Columbus pond

A swim in a pond at a North Columbus apartment complex turned tragic when divers pulled a man from the water. Rescue crews responded to the Whispering Oaks Apartments in the 1900 block of Belcher Dr. a little after 11 p.m. Sunday night after getting a 911 call about someone in the water.
