Man dies after stabbing at east Columbus park

A man died from his injuries after being stabbed in an east Columbus park.It happened at Nelson Park on North Nelson Road around 11:00 Thursday night.Columbus Police were called out on a report of a fight and stabbing.When officers arrived, they found Savon Lamont Ligon, 20, with stab wounds.Medics took Ligon to Grant Medical Center in serious condition.Two hours later, Ligon died from his injuries.Police arrested Marcus Maurice Curtis, 21, and charged him with murder.Investigators said the figh
