Man dies after returning home with gunshot wound

Columbus Police are working to figure out exactly what happened to a north Columbus man who arrived home early Saturday morning suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say that Darrin Mitchell, 35, arrived at his Duxberry Avenue home just before 2 a.m. Saturday, collapsing inside the house. Medics transported Mitchell to Grant Medical Center where he passed away.
