Man dies after East Columbus shooting

A man died Saturdayfollowing a shooting in east Columbus.It happened shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday, on Brinwood Place, near Noe Bixby Road.The victim was later identified as 45-year-old James William Edward Wade.Mr. Wade was found lying in a yard suffering from gunshot wounds and transported to Grant Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.The police investigation indicates Mr. Wade was walking on Noe Bixby Road when he was confronted by one or more unknown individuals before he was s
