Man dead after being hit by car during west Columbus fight

COLUMBUS -- One person is dead after a man was hit by a car and possibly shot during a fight in west Columbus early Thursday morning.Police found 48-year-old Frederick Massie with serious injuries around 12:45 a.m. on S. Warren Avenue near Sullivant Avenue.He died minutes later. Police said they were investigating if Massie was shot and killed or if Massie died as a result of being hit by the vehicle.Homicide detectives were talking with witnesses at the scene. Police had not named any suspects
