Man charged with murder in Thanksgiving Day shooting death

The Franklin County sheriff’s office is looking for a man suspected in the Nov. 26 shooting death of a West Side man. Da’Juan Mankins, 18, whose address is unknown, was charged on Tuesday with aggravated murder in the death of Glen Allen Stepp, 47, of Volney Avenue, in an alley near his home. Stepp was found shot in the upper body about 5 p.m. He died at Mount Carmel West Hospital shortly after arriving.
