Man arrested for rape in Athens

ATHENS, Ohio - Police in Athens have arrested a man for abduction and rape.Ohio University police said Athens police arrested Mohammed Al-Mashrafi.OU police said the crime happened in uptown Athens.Al-Mashrafi has been banned from campus and is being held at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on $75,000 bond, according to OU police.Police said if Al-Mashrafi bounds out of jail and is seen on campus, OU police need to be called at 740-593-1911.Chief Andrew Powers of the OU police department release
